Good morning beautiful people!!! ;-) How many of you knew that the largest organ of your body is your skin. Yup, your skin is your largest organ. You would think that the skin being the largest it would be taken care of, but it’s the most neglected. If you want healthy skin you’ll need to take care of your face and nourish it with the right products. You really don’t have to visit those expensive counter’s in your local mall for beauty products. Visit your local drug store and find a great cleanser & moisturizer. You may see all of the added facial skin care products on the market and get overwhelmed; I don’t blame you. Just start with a basic skin care regimen and get into a habit of good skin care.
Some of my favorite products are made by Cetaphil. Their cleansing products range for women who have normal to oily skin. It’s very gentle, and non-irritating. You can try the soap or the liquid cleanser. You can visit their website www.cetaphil.com for coupons offers!!!
Cetaphil Cleansing Bar Size $3
Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser $10
Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream $6
As with most health benefits, it comes down to lifestyle, rather than how much you can afford to spend on products. The things you can do to beautify your skin are remarkably similar to what you can do to strengthen your heart, control your weight, lift your mood and live longer and better: Get regular exercise, sleep enough, and over all eat well. Foods like whole grains, seafood, citrus fruits, red & green vegetables & nuts are great for your skin as well. Try it all and please share your results. Till next time………………..
Enjoy your weekend and remember to smile & shine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
tumblrbot asked: WHAT IS YOUR EARLIEST HUMAN MEMORY?
My mom sitting at her sewing machine making me church dresses ;-)
miopinionmattersmost asked: Isn't it hard hard to keep a smile on your face when everything around you tells u to cry?
There’s nothing wrong with crying! Don’t stay in the position where your tears consume you with depression. Get up and declare the promises of God over your life. Get up and fight. It may be your midnight, but the morning will come and joy will be with it! This walk is by faith and not sight. It may look like you’re defeated. It may even feel like you’re defeated, but stay focused on the prize!!! Don’t look at the circumstance, praise the One who changes the circumstance………………….Be encouraged!!! ;-)
Good morning beautiful people!! Yesterday’s blog dealt with seeing the beauty in people and circumstances. Today I wanted to focus on seeing the beauty in YOU!!!!. So many times we count ourselves out as being beautiful because we are not the same complexion as public figures. I’ve seen women go as far as using dangerous bleaching products that burn their skin. If you have discoloration that you want to get rid of, I recommend you find a good Dermatologist in your area. These bleaching products you find at mom & pop beauty supply stores are dangerous!!!
Exhibit A, & B below……………………………….YIKES!!!!!!!!!!!
In the modern appearance conscious society in which we live, there is a myth that lighter complexions portrays beauty. Upper black American societies in the early 1900’s used the “Brown Paper Bag Test” to determine if a black person was sufficiently white to gain admittance or acceptance. If your skin was darker than a brown paper bag, you did not merit. It’s sad that this practice from the 1900’s has not totally died out.
All shades of color are beautiful. We are all fearfully and wonderfully made. Whether you’re Pecan Tan or Ebony Brown, you are BEAUTIFUL. Be you….be who God has called you to be. Could you imagine a world were we all looked the same?????….BORING!!!!!!!! Look in the mirror and say it with me ladies…………….MY BLACK IS BEAUTIFUL !!!!!…..
Below I’ve placed some pictures of beautiful women from around the world…enjoy!
REMEMBER TO SMILE & SHINE!!!!
Good day beautiful people.Thank you for visiting Tracy Michou Artistry. This blog will be dedicated to random thoughts, beauty, fashion, and life experiences. Today is Wednesday May 11, 2011, and I must say I am grateful to be amongst the living. So many beautiful people, and so many beautiful things in life. I’ve learned that everything has beauty, but I have to choose see it. QUESTION:::::What seems seems to be dark in your life? Who seems to be against you? I challenge you today to look for the beauty in everything and everyone. That job you want may detour you from your destiny. That co-worker who gives you a hard time may be physically abused by their husband at home. Be in position to not allow anything steal your joy, but to speak life. The most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched, they must be felt with the heart. See that obstacle or trial as a way for God to show you how great He is. See the beauty in your life, and be thankful for another day. Remember to smile & SHINE****************
